A complete video series for BUD FEM

Project brief

The brief
BUD FEM asked us to film two large-scale completed projects for its portfolio. The main goal was to immerse viewers in the atmosphere of the projects and demonstrate the highest quality of the paving work without using words.

The client's request was maximum results with minimal client involvement. We took responsibility for the full production cycle (Production & Post-production), from script development and casting to editing with VFX and Sound Design.

The creative challenge and our solution
The main challenge lay in the product itself. Paving tiles are a static, “cold” material that rarely creates an emotional response on its own. Since BUD FEM is not just a seller, but a company that delivers complex engineering and aesthetic solutions, we changed the focus of the presentation:
• Movement and life in the frame: Instead of dry shots of paving tiles, we focused on two processes: the craftsmanship of installation and the comfortable use of the finished space by pedestrians.
• Atmosphere and scale: Drone footage showed the scale of the projects within their urban surroundings, while professional lighting and cinematic lenses emphasized the texture and geometry of every detail.
• Sound and effects (SFX/VFX): We brought the footage to life with sound design, from tactile construction sounds to the immersive ambience of a lively public space.

Production stages
• Scouting and preparation: Scouting two locations, analyzing angles and sunlight, approving the concept, and casting the speaker.
• Script: Developing the storyboard and speaker's text, presenting complex technical installation standards in a clear and convincing way.
• Shooting: Production using professional cameras, lighting, lavalier microphone systems, and drone filming.
• Post-production: Editing, color correction, VFX graphics to highlight important details, and SFX sound design for complete immersion.
